Dr. 阿比盖尔 Shatkin-Margolis cares for patients with female pelvic floor disorders. She specializes in diagnosing and treating pelvic organ prolapse (when an organ such as the bladder drops into the vagina), urinary and fecal incontinence, genitourinary and rectovaginal fistulas (abnormal connections between various pelvic organs), overactive bladder and bladder pain syndrome. 在研究, Shatkin-Margolis is interested in improving treatment and surgical outcomes for patients with these conditions, as well as investigating disparities in care.

Shatkin-Margolis received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Kaiser Permanente and a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and 整形外科手术 at TriHealth's Good Samaritan Hospital.

Shatkin-Margolis educates medical students and has won numerous awards for her teaching. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and practicing yoga.

    She is normally an excellent advisor on my health conditions. This telephone consultation was short and hurried. She misunderstood my report of getting up several times during the night and she prescribed medication for incontinence.

    Dr Margolis and her doctor in training were both excellent and I appreciate their kindness because I've been waiting 11 months to get help with my condition caused by a hysterectomy that went wrong and I was injured badly.

    It was the first time in quite a while tat I felt I mattered to a doctor. I felt like more than a paycheck..     Wow you are the luckiest employer ever. 阿比盖尔 Shatkin-Margolis is one of the very best doctors I have ever seen. I felt heard and seen and she exhibited a high degree of knowledge and concern.     Dr. Shatkin-Margolis made me feel comfortable the minute I met her. She asked me to call her Abby which I really liked. She had read my record from my previous procedure & told me that the LVN would give me more Lidocaine prior to the procedure & she would give me more before she started. She made sure that I was as comfortable as possible & explained what she would be doing before she did it.
